Human Colour System

Sun Jun 28, 2009, 12:10 PM
Last night we were driving home from church and it was raining but not really for very long. After that, there was this ginormous (i don't know how to spell that ha) rainbow and it was so vivid and vibrant. Not only that, it was the full arch in the sky. It was huge. I have never seen a rainbow that bright in my entire life. I was so amazed and i just watched out the window for seriously like 5 minutes just thinking about how good and faithful God is. It says in the Bible that He would give a rainbow every time after it rains as a promise to us. He is so incredibly faithful. It blows my mind. There is always, always, always a rainbow after it rains. Which is just one part of how faithful God is to us, not to mention we in no way deserve it. Anyway, after that, God totally showed me that the entire human colour system is based on the rainbow. (Something entirely created out of the heart and mind of God by the way.) So color just glorifies God and shows His love and personality. All colour is based on the promise and goodness of God! Not to mention, when we design and make things as artists, we are completely showing and magnifying His goodness, faithfulness, love, and mercy! Ahhh, I was so amazed at that revelation and it makes me all the more pumped up to be an artist for God! He is soooooo amazing!
